the Federal Resource Recovery and Conservation Act (RCRA) and is
regulated by the Federal Envirol Protection Agency. The environment can
be harmed by the release of electronic components, particularly lead. An
average color monitor may contain up to 1 1/2 pounds of lead and small
amounts of cadmium, mercury and other toxic metals.
